pudina Rice

  • 2 Cups Rice
  • 3 tspGhee
  • 4 Bunches mint leaves
  • 1 medium sized onion.
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 green chilies
  • 11/2″ piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 or 3 Cardomom Whole)
  • 2 tsps of ghee
  • 1 tsp of coriander powder
  • salt to taste

  1. Wash Rice and soak for 30 minutes.
  2. Grind garlic, mint, ginger, coriander powder smoothly.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and fry cardomom, cloves, jeera, onion and green chilies till onion turns golden brown.
  4. Add ground Ginger Garlic paste to the pan and allow it to cook till the ghee separates.
  5. Drian all the water in the rice,and put the rice in the rice cooker and add enough water and salt to it.
  6. Then Add the mix to the rice, and cook in a electric cooker.
  7. Serve hot with raita.
